Financial Surveys & Statistics
Here are some random, but relevant statistics that I’ve collected the past week.
13% – The increase in investment-banking fees for Wall Street firms for in 2009 to $59.8 billion, from $53.1 billion. It was still well below the recorded $86.9 billion hit in 2007. (Source: Bloomberg)
1.26 – The number of microseconds shorter the length of a day is on Earth as a result of the massive earthquake that struck Chile, the seventh-strongest quake in recorded history. A microsecond is one-millionth of a second. (Source: Associated Press)
2,378 – Tiger Woods’ ranking out of 2,500 celebrities in the David Brown Index, which is used by ad Agencies to gauge the abilities of celebrities to influence consumers. Mr. Woods once ranked 117th, putting him near singer Reba McEntire and comedian Robin Williams. His new ranking puts him in the company of rapper Lil’ Kim and rocker Ozzy Osbourne. 34% – Thirty-four percent of Americans expect the unemployment rate in the United States to be higher a year from today. That marks a fivepoint increase from December. (Source: Rasmussen Reports)

To enhance the credibility of an institution or organization its employees should be granted rewards remunerations and promotions according to the criteria set forth by the top level management. No doubt financial benefits or rewards could play an effective role to raise employee’s performance.
If you are looking in respect to online computer jobs then I say you be an independent programmer on freelance sites. Based on your area of expertise select the projects that suit ur skill.
Consider your own job. Is it to increase productivity or to avoid problems. If it is to avoid problems do nothing unless you manager tells you that is wrong and what to do right. If it is to improve productivity.
The way people base their experience with satisfaction for their job is to make comparisons with themselves to the people they work with. If an employee notices that another person is getting more recognition and rewards for their contributions, even when both have done the same amount and quality of work, it would persuade the employee to be dissatisfied.
You can, but it’s a hard slog to make enough money to be meaningful. I have been a member of the SurveySavvy panel for about 7 years now. In that time, I have earned $878.05 by completing surveys, and by earning a “royalty” on surveys completed by people I’ve referred to the program.
