Here are some random, but relevant statistics that I’ve collected the past week.
Daily Presidential Tracking Poll: For Friday, August 7th, the Poll shows that 34% of the nations voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. 38% Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of —4. The Rasmussen Investor Index: The index measures the economic confidence of investors on a daily basis. The current reading is 82.8, which is up 20 points since the beginning of the year.
The Rasmussen Consumer Index: The index measures the economic confidence of consumers on a daily basis. The current reading is 77.9 the highest level in 11 months. 40% – The percent of Americans that say they are at least somewhat likely to buy an all-electric car within the next decade. But only 14% say
it’s very likely. On August 5th President Obama announced $2.4 billion in federal grants to spur the production of electric cars in this country. (Source: Rasmussen Reports)
