Here are some random, but relevant statistics that I’ve collected the past week.
46% – The percent of voters who think that the Obama administration should move forward with health care reform. (Source: Rasmussen Reports)
$55K – The additional tax dollars the average American household owes to cover federal-government expenditures for retirement benefits, the national debt and other commitments made in the past year—the biggest increase since 2003 (Source: USA Today)
Long-Term Care Stats 2008:
• 400,00 Americans obtained LTC insurance coverage
• Estimated $8.5 billion in LTC insurance claims were paid
• Claims submitted by gender: Men 35%, Women 65%
• Claims paid by type of care:
